NeoBiosystems introduces the ezPatch 100A
NeoBiosystems, Inc. today announced the introduction of ezPatch 100A, a smart manipulator that
can automatically bring electrode to touch cell membrane. Similar to traditional manipulator for patch clamp, ezPatch comes
with manual positioners. In addition, ezPatch detects cell membrane. In patch clamp experiments, all users need to do is
aim the electrode at a cell. A click of a button and the electrode will stop at the surface of the cell
membrane in specified speed and pressure (measured by resistance increase). Patch clamp experiments will be
consistent and precise once you find the best seal parameters. The ezPatch 100A debuts today at the Biophysical
Society Annual Meeting in Baltimore, MD.
