NeoBiosystems, Inc. introduces a fast solution
change perfusion chamber that can be used for both oocyte and cultured
cell patch clamp.
NeoBiosystems, Inc. today announced the introduction of a fast solution
change perfusion chamber that can be used for
both oocyte and cultured cell patch clamp. This
marks the first time that NeoBiosystems applies its automated
oocyte patch clamp technology
to study cultured cell. The new perfusion chamber
permits fast solution change for oocyte excised patch, suspended
cultured cells and confluent cells on cover slips. The new perfusion chamber
permits a fast change in solutions involving an
oocyte-excised patch, or suspended cultured cells and
confluent cells on cover slips.
This novel design uses a computer-controlled stepper
motor to bring patch pipettes to the center of each of the three-barrel
perfusion pipettes. No pipette re-positioning is needed.
Solution change is fast and reliable, and it is as simple as clicking a
button. The new perfusion chamber debuts today at the
Neuroscience Society Annual Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia.
